Maasai Coasters

Maasai art comes from the Maasai communities in Tanzania, East Africa. It’s known for its intricate beadwork and bold colors, often reflecting everyday life, nature, beliefs, and a deep sense of community.

When I was heading to Germany for high school, my aunty gave me around 20 pieces.

They’re at least 10 years old now — you can even see some oxidation on the metal parts.

Over the years, I’ve gifted most of them to friends.
